Industry leader for furniture products in Indonesia, Chitose, is preparing for the opening of a new factory that will be located in Cimahi, West Java. The project is slated to increase the company’s production capacity in order to meet market demand. Chitose’s upcoming factory project has been under construction since March 2016 and it is expected for completion on 22nd April 2017. This is the latest move from Chitose as it looks to expand upon its consumer reach by offering a wider range of its market-leading furniture and chair products.
The new factory will be situated on 6,610 sq.m. of land and will additionally boast cutting-edge facilities including a showroom, auditorium, and warehouse. With the company looking to increase brand awareness of its products to local and international consumers, Chitose has thus designed a live showroom that will showcase the company’s cutting-edge production process; Chitose will also make available factory tours for visitors. Through the company’s latest factory, Chitose is poised to manufacture up to 60,000 pieces of products on a monthly basis.
