Between the 23rd and 26th of April 2014 at the Jakarta International Expo in Kemayoran, Shinta Group attended and participated in the 2014 edition of Indo Intertex – one of the region’s premier exhibitions showcasing a diverse range of textile machinery and accessories. Organised by Pergara Nusantara Jaya Sakti and Expostar Global Event with support from the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, the Indonesian Textiles Association (API), and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin); the event featured exhibits from more than 500 local and international companies and was attended by over 20,000 visitors. Building upon the success of last year’s exhibition, Indo InterTex also saw the debut of two new pavilions from Great Britain and Germany.
Shinta Group’s participation at Indo InterTex 2014 was emblematic of the event’s theme of ‘strengthening textile and clothing products competitiveness through new innovation’; a concept embraced by the group as a leading manufacturer of specialty yarns such as SulCool in addition to a bevy of synthetic fiber yarns and fabrics. As a company always looking for new avenues to improve upon product quality and achieve production optimisation – a fact demonstrated by recent investment in new energy efficient machinery – Shinta Group took the opportunity to peruse the latest in made-made fiber manufacturing processes as well as weaving, knitting and quality control technology.
Indo InterTex 2014 was held simultaneously and in the same venue as two of South East Asia’s other influential textile events: Inatex and Indo Dye Chem, which presented products and innovations in textile apparel accessories and dyeing and chemical processes, respectively.
