On 27th June 2016, Trilogi University launched the new Pancasila Scholarship in a measure to further support Indonesia’s efforts to improve upon its higher education sector. As a well-regarded university, Trilogi thus will utilise the Pancasila Scholarship to encourage greater understanding of Pancasila – the official philosophical foundation in Indonesia – in addition to sharing the university’s vision and mission. Trilogi University offers the Pancasila Scholarship to local high school students throughout Indonesia who are seeking to earn their bachelor’s degree in Economic Development for the university’s 2016/2017 academic year.
Rector of Trilogi University Prof. Dr. Asep Saefuddin provided a detailed speech regarding the university’s motivation to launch its Pancasila Scholarship. Understanding the importance for producing well-rounded and adept graduates, Trilogi University therefore seeks to incorporate the principles of pancasila in order to fulfil the aforementioned goal. As such, Trilogi University will cover 100% of the tuition fees for five high-achieving students and 50% of tuition fees for ten selected students. In keeping with its mission to increase public knowledge on pancasila, Trilogi University will also establish a Pancasila Economy Study Centre dedicated to the research of the niche study.
The newly-introduced Pancasila Scholarship stands as testament to Trilogi University’s longstanding dedication to bring about developments in Indonesia’s higher education sector and through the addition of innovative programmes in the future.
