From 16th – 19th November 2016, ENVIPLAST® participated in the Plastics and Rubber Indonesia 2016 event as the company sought to showcase its bio-based polymer compounds and end-products to local as well as international plastics industry players. Plastics and Rubber Indonesia strives to fulfil the needs of businesses involved in the plastic and rubber industry; this year’s Plastics and Rubber Indonesia programme attracted over 12,000 visitors from 25 countries such as China, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Furthermore, Plastics and Rubber Indonesia 2016 also received support from the Minister of Industry Mr Airlangga Hartarto, The Indonesia Olefin, Aromatic & Plastic Industry Association, and the Indonesia Packaging Federation among a slew of other esteemed organisational bodies. At the event, ENVIPLAST® displayed its bio-based polymer compound pellets and film in addition to its range of cassava-based final product types including shopping bags.
As a company that strives to raise awareness on alternatives to plastic, ENVIPLAST® through Plastics and Rubber Indonesia 2016 engaged with industry leaders in an effort to offer sustainable measures for the environment. Moreover, ENVIPLAST® sought out prospective partners to support the company’s push for improved technology, capital investment and export opportunities; ENVIPLAST®’s target markets include the regions of Europe, North America, and Asia. In doing so, the company hopes to increase the number of overseas and local distributors as well as clients that have access to ENVIPLAST®’s eco-friendly products.
