In recognition of their achievements over the year, Bahana Securities on 26th August was named the Best Equity House of 2014 by Alpha Southeast Asia, a prominent regional investment magazine. Ms Novita Lubis as Director of Investment Banking accepted this award on behalf of the company during the 8th Annual Best Financial Institutions Awards, held in tandem with the 4th Annual Corporate Awards in Jakarta. Bahana Securities was in particular commended for their position as a securities firm with a 14.5% market share for equity transactions, having carried out transactions totaling 7.6 trillion IDR in 2013.

As per June 2014, Bahana Securities posted a Semester 1 net profit of 34 billion IDR. Success in this regard has been attributed to several landmark investment banking projects completed during this time period, such as a 1.485 trillion IDR rights issue and placement for flag carrier Garuda Indonesia and a 1.207 trillion IDR IPO for Wijaya Karya Beton (Wika Beton). Other notable projects include conducting a placement for leading telecommunication provider Telkom, with transactions totaling 2.585 trillion IDR. In addition to its capital market endeavours, Bahana Securities also actively engaged in financial advisory projects such as those carried out for BNI Life, Inalum and InHealth.
