Kamadjaja Logistics | CEO Ivan Kamadjaja Discusses Strategy for 2015 in SWA Magazine
08.01.2015

Kamadjaja Logistics’ CEO, Mr Ivan Kamadjaja, was featured in the 8th January edition of SWA Magazine on the topic of his company’s strategy for 2015. As one of the industry leaders interviewed by the magazine to gain insights into how notable Indonesian companies plan to approach new business opportunities in 2015, Mr Kamadjaja touched upon several key targets for Kamadjaja Logistics to strive towards in the immediate future.

Having been decided upon following a strategy summit at the end of 2014, the company’s main priorities for 2015 include being more selective in identifying target markets, increasing internal efficiency and productivity, as well as developing its human resources. Success in carrying out these objectives, as explained by Mr Kamadjaja, should see the company achieve its goal of double digit growth in 2015, at a rate more than double that of the logistics industry in Indonesia.

The interview with SWA Magazine also touched upon the progress of Kamadjaja Logistics' five-year road map spanning 2010 to 2015, which was created in anticipation of the ASEAN Economic Community. To prepare for new opportunities and greater competition, the company has been proactive in expanding its presence across Indonesia through the construction of KLOG Parks in Medan, Surabaya, and Cibitung (See Kamadjaja Logistics Launches its Landmark KLOG Park in Cibitung).

Going forward, Kamadjaja Logistics is set to build upon a network of 22 distribution centres in 15 major Indonesian cities through an ongoing commitment to expansion detailed in the company’s latest five-year roadmap, titled Quantum Leap 2015. Mr Kamadjaja expects his company to benefit from a more concerted effort from the government to establish Indonesia as a maritime nation, and as such has been a vocal proponent of plans to develop a sea toll and improve port infrastructure.
