Polindo Utama has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Management System certification by TUV Nord in the field of Recycling Plastic and Polyester Manufacture.

This certification marks a key milestone not only for Polindo Utama but for the recycled plastic industry as a whole in Indonesia as the company is the first company in the sector to gain the certification. This illustrates the increasingly professionalism and maturity within the industry as well as highlighting its future potential for both the local market and for international export.

Polindo Utama will continue to strengthen its internal capacity and plans to complete the necessary procedures for OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management later in 2013.
