From 28th August – 1st September 2015, leading manufacturer of bio-based polymer compound ENVIPLAST® participated in the 84th Izmir International Fair (IEF) 2015, which was held in Izmir, Turkey. Being the oldest trade exhibition in Turkey, this year’s theme focused on innovation and also attracted approximately 1.5 million visitors which comprised of innovators, academics as well as prominent multinational companies who showcased their pioneering commercial and industrial products for a variety of sectors.

The involvement of ENVIPLAST® in this year’s event follows on from an invitation from Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade and thus illustrates the brand’s well-established reputation as a market leader in the manufacture of environmentally-friendly plastic products. During the event, ENVIPLAST® engaged with visitors in an effort to raise awareness on the advantages of using its cassava-derived, polymer bio-plastics as a solution to ongoing problems of conventional plastic waste. Furthermore, ENVIPLAST® also viewed the event location of Turkey as a market boasting immense potential for the export of the company’s pellets as well as packaging products. Moving forward, ENVIPLAST® will look into export opportunities made available in Turkey given the country’s strategic location for the European region.

ENVIPLAST®’s most recent participation at the IEF exhibition demonstrates the brand’s efforts to promote the global use of environmentally-friendly packaging materials. As such, the company continues to actively engage in research and development in order to create a wider scope for the application of its products.
