ENVIPLAST® on 18th March 2015 participated in Specialty Packaging Films Asia 2015, a prominent international conference on the topic of flexible barrier packaging and its applications for retail and industry. Held at the Swissôtel The Stamford hotel in Singapore, the event sought to provide an in-depth analysis into current market trends for film and sheet packaging and featured insights from an array of notable experts in the field. The ENVIPLAST® team in attendance at Speciality Packaging Films Asia 2015 was led by the company’s Technical Advisor, Dr. Asmuwahyu Saptorahardjo, who was invited to take part in the event as a speaker. In delivering his presentation on the topic of ‘starch based lamination layers as a potential oxygen barrier’, Dr. Saptorahardjo described in detail the advantages of ENVIPLAST®’s bio-based polymer compound films used as flexible packaging for food products.
