From 11th-15th October 2017, ENVIPLAST® participated in the 2017 Indonesian Trade Expo which was held at the ICE Convention Centre in BSD. Organised by the Ministry of Trade, the event provided local and international companies with the platform to showcase their latest products and services to customers and industry partners; the Indonesian government targeted some $1.1 billion USD in transactions at the expo.
From 6th - 7th September 2017, ENVIPLAST® participated at the 2017 ASIA Plastics Summit which was held at the JS Luwansa Hotel in Jakarta. The summit gathered leading players from the global plastics industry to promote and discuss the latest developments in plastics processing technology and new innovative material designs.
On 29th August 2017 ENVIPLAST® participated at the Green Public Procurement (GPP) Nation Wide Promotion 2017 Workshop at the Borobudur Hotel in Jakarta. Organised by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) in cooperation with the German Cooperation for International Development (GIZ), the event sought to showcase the Ministry’s recently established GPP guidelines and strategies.
On 8th May 2017, ENVIPLAST® hosted the Minister of Trade and Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs at its factory in Tangerang during an event to raise awareness on technological advancements for the production of biodegradable plastic. The programme was also part of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation’s initiative.

ENVIPLAST® most recently attained the Ekolabel Swadeklarasi label from Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry which stands as testament to the company’s development of eco-friendly bags. From 16th – 19th November 2016, ENVIPLAST® participated in the Plastics and Rubber Indonesia 2016 event as the company sought to showcase its bio-based polymer compounds and end-products to local as well as international plastics industry players. At the event, ENVIPLAST® displayed its bio-based polymer compound pellets and film in addition to its range of cassava-based final product types including shopping bags.
Reaffirming its readiness to expand its international export market reach, ENVIPLAST® recently participated in the 31st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) which was held at the Jakarta International Expo venue from 12th – 16th October 2016. During the TEI 2016 event, ENVIPLAST® showcased its latest manufacturing capacity by making available an improved shopping bag product line to visitors.
On 16th September 2016, Inter Kimia Aneka Lestari received the Green Award for its in-house ENVIPLAST® brand at the ASEAN Plastics Awards event 2016, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand. This most recent accolade demonstrates the company’s continuous efforts in showcasing its ENVIPLAST® products as an alternative solution to the threat of micro-plastic waste.

ENVIPLAST®’s most recent participation at the IEF exhibition demonstrates the brand’s efforts to promote the global use of environmentally-friendly packaging materials.

In keeping with its commitment to consumer engagement, ENVIPLAST® on 28th March 2015 participated in TM Green Festival, hosted by Tunas Muda International School in Kedoya, West Jakarta. As the company’s latest initiative to raise awareness about the advantages of its bio-based polymer compound products, ENVIPLAST® showcased a variety of eco-friendly final products such as trash bin liners, toilet seat covers and disposable aprons.
ENVIPLAST® on 18th March 2015 participated in Specialty Packaging Films Asia 2015, a prominent international conference on the topic of flexible barrier packaging and its applications for retail and industry. Held in Singapore, the event sought to provide an in-depth analysis into current market trends for film and sheet packaging and featured insights from an array of notable experts in the field.
ENVIPLAST® in March 2015 was invited to display its bio-based polymer compound products at the Indonesian Ministry of Trade as part of a showcase of local products that best exemplify export quality. As the company’s latest initiative to raise brand awareness, the extensive ENVIPLAST® portfolio encompassing products such as bags and packaging are to be featured at the Ministry of Trade for a period of three months.

ENVIPLAST® was invited by the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taipei to join the 2014 Eco-Products International Fair (EPIF 2014) between 13th to 16th March. During this event ENVIPLAST® introduced eco-friendly bio-based bags that are highly suitable as an alternative to conventional plastic bags.
ENVIPLAST® from 6th to 8th March participated as an exhibitor at Food, Hotel & Tourism (FHT) Bali 2014 held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia. The event was the 9th international exhibition for equipment, food, beverages and services to support Indonesia’s tourism and hospitality industries.
On 21st November, ENVIPLAST® attended and participated in the 2013 Asian Packaging Conference, which was focused on the topic of the Green Packaging Revolution. Hosted by the Asian Packaging Federation (APF) and the Indonesian Packaging Federation (IPF), the event sought to inform business players from Asia’s leading companies of the benefits of using eco-friendly alternatives to plastic.
On 10th October 2013, Inter Aneka Lestari Kimia received the LIPI Science-Based Industrial Innovation Award from the Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI). The award was established as a means for Indonesia’s foremost proponent of progress in the sciences to demonstrate its appreciation for industrial companies that have taken upon the role of pioneer in implementing scientific innovation
On 7th December 2012, Inter Aneka Lestari Kimia received the prestigious Technology Pioneer Award from Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry, in recognition of their ability to create ENVIPLAST®: a cost effective bio-based alternative to plastic film. The company is the first to have comprehensively developed a fully biodegradable cassava derived polymer in Indonesia.
