DEN Indonesia between 12th and 13th April 2014 successfully completed a joint review of its quality system with representatives from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). This audit was carried out to renew the company’s ASME certification for the repair of boilers (R Stamp) and manufacture of boilers (S Stamp), which had been set to expire in June 2014.
The joint review of DEN Indonesia’s quality control system encompassed a review of its entire manufacturing and repair process, beginning with receiving orders from customers and ending with the final delivery/installation of the requested product. To ensure the renewal of its R Stamp and S Stamp certification, DEN Indonesia adheres to stringent guidelines put forward by ASME in carrying out each of the company’s operations. As a means of assessing compliance at every level of the company, the joint review team audited the vast majority of DEN Indonesia’s departments, including Quality Control, Engineering, Procurement, Sales, Manufacture, Proposal and Project Management, among others. Final assessments were made on the basis of DEN Indonesia’s consistency in implementing both the practical and theoretical nuances of the quality system mandated by ASME.
Upon meeting all of the requirements set forth in the joint review audit process, DEN Indonesia was granted the right to renew its ASME certifications. The company’s S Stamp (certificate number 41,683) and R Stamp (certificate number R-8423) are now valid until June 2017.
