Dan Liris strives to offer customers variety and choice in all aspects of its textile manufacturing service. Integral to this strategy is the ready availability of a selection of yarns produced by the company’s Spinning Division. This highly efficient division is subdivided into three units, each specialising in a different type of yarn and subject to regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and limited downtime.
Unit I produces export quality yarn, primarily used by Indonesian manufacturers and for internal company production but so named because the textile products created from this yarn are primarily intended for export markets. With 24,144 spindles and a capacity of approximately 19,175 bales per annum (std. Ne 30's), Unit I provides a reliable source of in-house materials to offer fully-integrated textile solutions.
Dan Liris’ largest spinning operation with 59,568 spindles and a production capacity in excess of 60,410 bales per year (std. Ne 30's); Unit II produces yarn to be exported directly to international markets and is renowned for its superior quality and durability guaranteed by Dan Liris’ focus on quality control and sourcing of raw cotton from the best producers in the US, Australia and Brazil.
To meet growing local demand, Dan Liris dedicates Unit III to the production of economically priced yarn that maintains the advanced level of uncompromised integrity for which Dan Liris has become well known. This unit through 24,000 spindles presently operates at a capacity of 19,594 bales per annum (std. Ne 30's), and Dan Liris expects that investment in new machinery and the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques will see this capacity grow in concert with the rise of Indonesian purchasing power and consumption.
Moreover, each of these units are capable of producing several distinct yarn blends – Polyester Cotton Combed (Ne 30's, Ne 45's), 100% Cotton Combed (Ne 40's, Ne 50's), 100% Cotton Combed Compact (Ne 60's, Ne 80's, Ne 100's) and 100% Cotton Carded (Ne 30's, Ne 32's, Ne 40's). The recent installation of a Toyota RX-300 ring spinning machine in 2015 has furthered Dan Liris’ ability to meet diverse client demand in facilitating the production of more than a thousand different slub effect designs for yarn products as well as in ensuring greater quality through lower yarn hairiness. This commitment to the modernization of its machinery as a means of achieving the highest production standards has also seen Dan Liris invest in an auto-sorter from Swiss-based Jossi and an automatic winder from Japan-based Murata to detect foreign fibers prior to and post production, respectively. Through the implementation of this advanced technology, Dan Liris mitigates instances of contamination within its Spinning Division and cements its standing as one of Indonesia’s leading, quality-driven yarn manufacturers.
