In keeping with a strategy to modernize its production facilities, Dan Liris in October 2014 became the first company in Indonesia to use Thermex 6500 Continuous Dyeing machinery, manufactured by A. Monforts Textilmaschinen. The implementation of this technology in Dan Liris’ production process will raise the capacity of its Finishing & Printing Division to 42 million yards of fabric per year – a substantial jump from the previous capacity of slightly less than 12.5 million yards per year.

Dan Liris also stands to benefit from the machine’s E-Control system, designed to minimize the use of dyestuff and chemicals, as well as reduce water consumption. In addition to this, the Thermex 6500 is recognised for its consistency in contributing to the manufacture of high quality textile goods, and thereby will play a key role in Dan Liris’ continuous initiative to enhance the competitiveness of its products in international markets. Following the increase in production capacity and product quality attributed to its use of cutting-edge technology, the company expects to allocate more products from its Finishing & Printing Division to export markets such as Australia, Japan, and Europe, among others.
