Bank Mutiara on 13th January 2014 held a workshop on non-performing loans (NPL) in cooperation with Bank Mandiri. At the event, Mr Hikmat Nazar, Head of the Legal Department’s Special Asset Management Division at Bank Mandiri discussed strategies that could be taken to settle Bank Mutiara’s NPLs, as a means of resolving the issue of a number of delinquent debtors that date back to the Bank Century era. Demonstrative of an active response to Bank Indonesia’s suggestion that Bank Mutiara prioritise addressing its NPLs in the immediate future; this workshop was attended by Mr Sukoriyanto Saputro, President Director; Mr Ahmad Fajar, International Banking and Treasury Director; Mr Candra Utama, Executive Vice President; as well as staff members from the bank’s Asset Recovery Division.
