BNI Syariah on 14th December 2013 began operating out of its new headquarters strategically located in the Tempo Pavilion 1 Building in Kuningan, Jakarta. Prior to making this move, the bank’s operations were split between four different offices in the capital, namely in the BNI Building, the Landmark Tower, the Blok M Building and Sequis Plaza. Relocating to the new headquarters is thus widely expected to facilitate greater coordination and efficiency through the centralisation of all of the bank’s divisions.
Speaking at an inauguration event held on 11th December 2013, Mr Dinno Indiano as President Director of BNI Syariah explained that the move to a new office was an integral part of the bank’s growth strategy. In an interview with local newspaper Kompas, Mr Indiano said “BNI Syariah as a bank with assets above 10 trillion IDR plans to expedite its internal consolidation. I hope that with this new office, BNI Syariah will continue to enjoy success and contribute to the development of Indonesia’s banking sector”.
