On 29th November 2016, Sewu Segar Nusantara (SSN) obtained the Indonesia PR of The Year 2016 award for the Media Relations Programme category by leading local media, MIX Magazine. The latest award illustrates SSN’s continued strength in public relations that is led by the company’s highly-skilled marketing and communications division. Jurors of the award which comprised of PR specialists, academicians, and media industry players included Ms Indira Abidin of Fortune Indonesia, Mr Bambang Sumaryanto from the University of Indonesia, Ms Dyah Hasto Palupi as Senior Editor of MIX and SWA Magazine as well as Mr Teguh Poeradisastra as Senior Editor of SWA Magazine. Marketing and Communications Manager of SSN, Ms Luthfiany Azwawie accepted the honour during the Indonesia PR of the Year 2016 award ceremony which took place at the InterContinental MidPlaza Hotel in Jakarta.
As part of the winner selection process, participants were judged based on a number of factors such as the PR value of their media entry which participants were required to submit in addition to its effectiveness. SSN submitted its ″Media Trip to the Sunpride® Farm″ media publication to MIX Magazine which had a total PR value of 3.466.200.000 IDR and successfully generated 89 online blog posts; the event was held from 29th – 30th April 2015 alongside bloggers, media staff, SSN’s ‘fruitaholic’ community, and the Indonesia Berkebun community group. Success in this regard showcased the company’s upper-hand in establishing ties with wide-ranging media outlets as well as market segments in Indonesia. Furthermore, SSN received praise from juror Mr Bambang Sumaryanto who viewed the company’s programme as a strong marketing strategy that had a positive impact on SSN’s brand and its renown amongst consumers. This latest achievement showcases SSN’s expertise in innovative marketing techniques that has become a core pillar of the company’s success in the industry.
