Sewu Segar Nusantara (SSN) recently attained the Indonesia Original Brand 2016 Award from SWA Magazine under the “Quality Fruit” category. The accolade recognises leading local brands with immense potential to compete on the international stage in addition to the establishment of a strong brand presence in Indonesia. During the event, SSN was acknowledged for its market leading fresh fruit brands Sunpride® and Sunfresh® which have become household names among local consumers. Managing Director of SSN Mr Martin Widjaja accepted the award and was joined by other prominent members of SSN including Marketing and Communications Manager Ms Luthfiany Azwawie.
SWA Magazine in cooperation with research organisation Business Digest surveyed 5,070 participants and focused on four criteria such as satisfaction, loyalty, advocacy, and foreign local comparison. Renowned in the industry for its consistency in product quality as well as innovative marketing strategies, SSN’s Sunpride® brand received an “above average” score of 7.63 based on the Indonesia Original Brand index and therefore placed first in the category; the Sunfresh® brand reached a score 7.58. SSN’s most recent achievement demonstrates its upper-hand in the industry for brand awareness and quality control as well as showcases the company’s capability to compete with other international fruit brands.
