Sewu Segar Nusantara (SSN) participated in the Jakarta Wine & Cheese Expo 2016 event for the second consecutive year which took place from 22nd April until 22nd May 2016 at La Piazza Mall in Kelapa Gading. The one month event saw in attendance thousands of visitors and was particularly popular amongst families and Indonesia’s young adults. SSN thus utilised this opportunity to promote the importance of daily fruit consumption. As part of the event, SSN also became the main sponsor for fresh fruits during the Jakarta Wine & Cheese Run 2016 (JWCR) on 15th May 2016.
As part of the Jakarta Wine & Cheese Expo 2016, SSN through its Sunpride® brand provided a selection of fresh fruits to JWCR participants at the refreshment area. As a company committed to campaigning in favour of a healthy lifestyle, SSN presented winners of the running competition with a Sunpride® fresh fruit prize package that is equivalent to the weight of the winning participants.
Renowned in the industry for its creative marketing strategy, SSN during the expo also held two contests namely the ‘Breakfast Idea Competition’ and ‘Rujak Competition’ – a measure to further encourage the public to incorporate fresh fruits as part of their daily meal in a creative manner. Each winner from both contests was entitled to a Sunpride® fresh fruit package consisting of its market leading Cavendish Bananas, HONI Pineapples, Crystal Guavas as well as a variety of SSN’s imported fruits such as Zespri’s kiwifruits. SSN’s active engagement in a number of events in 2016 demonstrates its endeavours to maximise the potential behind Jakarta’s growing health-conscious society therefore facilitating the expansion of its ‘Fruitaholic’ community.
