Leading fresh fruit distributor in Indonesia, Sewu Segar Nusantara (SSN), hosted a number of activities for its ‘Fruitaholic’ community in March 2016. Renowned for its extensive social media network and close consumer engagement, SSN’s recent initiatives demonstrate its ongoing measures to further strengthen the Sunpride® brand name in addition to improving general knowledge on fresh fruit consumption. As such, the list of activities included creating a ‘Fruitaholic’ group on the Whatsapp messaging application and hosting a community gathering event in Bogor, West Java.
SSN invited 11 bloggers with a large online presence as well as an understanding of fresh fruit and healthy lifestyles to join its ‘Fruitaholic’ Whatsapp group. In keeping with its personal approach in supporting the development of a thriving ‘Fruitaholic’ community, SSN additionally hosted a gathering which involved members from the company’s Whatsapp group and a number of loyal Sunpride® social media followers. Through the event, SSN introduced participants to information on the benefits of fruit consumption, social media contests as well as a number of group activities which incorporate the use of its #BuahPastiSunpride hash tag.
